A Kitty Ditty by Suzan Wiener

Suzan is a regular contributor to Hazard Cat and worked extra hard to make this poem shine. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

"A Kitty Ditty"
by Suzan Wiener

Midnight is amazing,

Warm, and sometimes wild.

She’s like a little baby,

And then a naughty child.

Like a fuzzy teddy bear

She’ll cuddle me at night,

But hiss and run

And give my visitors a fright!

She purrs upon my lap,

A friend who won’t go far;

But try to call her in

And she’s as deaf as any star.

Hiding in the jonquils

Pouncing on a leaf,

She’s the fiercest tigress

When she wants a treat.

A vixen and a wondrous

Little work of art,

She may roam far from home

But never leaves my heart.

Awww. I love this poem. Cats are little vixens and much like pathers at night. But they always work their way into your heart.
