Marmalade cats and plump muffin mice,
Toasted in dreams all through my head.
Invited to dance in a marshmallow sky,
They pirouette, curtsy; cavorting so high.
Parading across a sleepyhead's bed,
Such visions of mirth and antics are nice.
While memories of childhood cascade all around,
Only death and destruction around me abound.
